This role is centered on advising mid- to large-market employers on the design, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive employee benefits programs. You will support clients in shaping innovative medical, dental, life, and disability solutions that balance cost efficiency with employee well-being and long-term organizational strategy. The position combines client relationship management, data-driven consulting, and hands-on project execution across complex benefits engagements. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring benefits strategies are aligned with compliance requirements, market trends, and workforce needs. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment, you will coordinate with internal specialists across actuarial, pharmacy, communications, and health analytics functions. This is a high-impact role where analytical insight, strategic thinking, and strong client partnership skills directly influence outcomes for large employer groups.
- Lead and manage consulting engagements for mid- to large-market employer clients, including RFPs, renewals, and implementation processes.
- Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships while coordinating internal resources to deliver high-quality service.
- Develop and support strategic benefits plans aligned with client objectives, workforce needs, and long-term organizational goals.
- Design and refine medical, dental, life, and disability benefits strategies in collaboration with actuarial, pharmacy, and population health experts.
- Review compliance documentation, plan materials, and employee communications to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Analyze benefits data, financial metrics, and utilization trends to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Provide project management leadership to ensure timely and successful execution of client initiatives.
This role requires strong experience in employee benefits consulting, combined with analytical capability and the ability to manage complex client relationships. Candidates should be confident working in data-driven environments and communicating insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting or a related advisory role.
- Life and Health insurance license required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Strong understanding of medical, dental, life, and disability benefit structures.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver consultative solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and utilization data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 annually, based on experience and location.
