Deal Desk Sales Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deal Desk Sales Specialist based in India.

This role plays a key part in enabling efficient and structured sales execution across global and regional deal cycles within a fast-paced, international cybersecurity business environment. You will act as the central coordination point for deal structuring, pricing support, and quotation management, ensuring smooth alignment between sales, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams. The position is highly operational and commercial in nature, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to support complex, multi-stakeholder transactions. You will contribute directly to revenue enablement by improving turnaround time, ensuring compliance with sales processes, and supporting accurate deal execution. Accountabilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for deal desk operations supporting regional and global sales teams, ensuring efficient deal processing and execution.
  • Manage the end-to-end quotation process, coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to support timely and accurate deal closure.
  • Support deal structuring, pricing validation, and RFP execution in alignment with business rules and commercial guidelines.
  • Maintain proactive communication with vendors and partners for larger or strategic opportunities to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
  • Utilize internal tools and systems (such as NetSuite and SharePoint) to manage deal workflows and documentation.
  • Support reporting and data analysis activities, including financial or operational reporting for senior management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing deal desk efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
  • Promote deal desk processes and best practices across internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent understanding and adoption.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, deal desk, or product-related commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing structures, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in a global environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite or SAP is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Proactive, self-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Experience in IT sales, channel ecosystems, or cybersecurity business environments is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to logistics, import/export processes is an added benefit.
