Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Associate to join our LTL Shipping Department. This role is responsible for performing final inspections, verifying order accuracy, packaging equipment, and preparing shipments for delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in shipping and crating, warehouse operations, packaging, material handling, or production support, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct final inspections of equipment prior to packaging and shipment
• Verify order quantities, product specifications, and powder coat colors for shipment accuracy
• Package and crate equipment securely for LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipping
• Measure and cut wood materials to build shipping crates and protective packaging
• Ensure all orders are packed completely and accurately before shipment
• Maintain strong product knowledge to support accurate inspections and packaging processes
• Become familiar with multiple shipping methods, freight requirements, and packaging standards
• Operate a sit-down forklift and use hand/power tools safely as needed
• Work collaboratively with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/shipping environment
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in LTL shipping, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or logistics (preferred)
• Experience using power tools (preferred)
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
