Position Summary:

The Assessment & Accreditation Coordinator will report directly to the Teachers College Dean. The coordinator will oversee the comprehensive assessment and data management system for all programs, including the Office of Teacher Education Experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating data collection and reporting to the state and stakeholders, maintaining the assessment system, and supporting all units and faculty in the systematic collection and use of assessment data for continuous improvement and accreditation purposes.

Teachers College comprises five departments offering undergraduate and graduate degrees: Advanced Instructional Studies & Special Education; Educational Leadership; Counselor Education; Curriculum and Instruction; and Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collect and maintain graduate field placement data within the assessment system.
• Manage survey development, configuration, distribution, and analysis to gather stakeholder feedback.
• Serve as the primary liaison between all units, software developers, and university technology staff to ensure system functionality and effective data management.
• Generate reports as requested.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational, human relations, and technological skills, are expected.
The candidate should be able to deliver effective training and support to new users.
The candidate should possess exceptional collaboration and problem-solving skills.

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Assessment & Accreditation Coordinator will teach a six-hour course load each semester, determined by education background and experience (50% administrative and 50% teaching).

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned master's degree in education or a closely related field is required.
