DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, countertops, and sinks
Washing windows
Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: No prior experience or training. Public space custodial experience is a plus (e.g. hospitality lobby attendant)
Language Skills: Ability to communicate work status and discrepancies.
Mathematical Skills: No specific math skills other than basic math are required.
Computer Skills: Use of a windows-based workstation to clock in/out is required.
