Job Description

Senior Manager, BizOps & Analytics (New Products)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, BizOps & Analytics (New Products) based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of business operations, product strategy, and analytics, with a mandate to take new product ideas from concept to scaled revenue-generating businesses. You will operate in a high-ownership environment where ambiguity is the norm and speed of learning is critical. The position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including market sizing, product experimentation, and go-to-market design. You will initially embed within an existing product team to understand internal workflows, customer behavior, and experimentation frameworks before transitioning to own a new vertical from zero to one. This is a highly analytical and entrepreneurial role, requiring strong business judgment, curiosity, and the ability to translate data into decisive action. You will work closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to shape new business lines and ultimately build teams around successful bets.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end development of new product verticals, from market research and sizing through to launch, iteration, and scale into a standalone business line.
  • Conduct deep customer and market analysis to identify opportunities, define hypotheses, and validate new revenue streams.
  • Design and execute experiments, A/B tests, and product iterations to optimize funnel performance and product-market fit.
  • Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Excel, or Python to identify trends, diagnose issues, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to prototype and ship early-stage product features and experiences.
  • Own go-to-market strategy execution, including positioning, testing channels, and iterating based on performance data.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders, influencing roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Build foundational processes and eventually hire and scale teams around successful new business initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, high-growth startups, or similarly analytical and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to independently own ambiguous, zero-to-one problems and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL, Excel, and/or Python for data analysis and decision-making.
  • Experience working across multiple complex workstreams in parallel without compromising execution quality.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect customer behavior, market dynamics, and financial impact.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executive-level partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high tolerance for ambiguity and comfort making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Deep curiosity and data-driven thinking, with a strong focus on root-cause analysis and continuous experimentation.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from USD $170,000 to $220,000 plus equity opportunities
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plans with employer matching (401K in the US / RRSP in Canada)
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and wellness benefits
  • Equity grants as part of total compensation package
  • Remote-friendly work environment across North America
  • Opportunity to build and own new business lines from the ground up
  • Exposure to high-growth, high-impact product and business strategy work
