About This Position

What You’ll Do

    • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements and use cases for AI and data-driven solutions
    • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development or configuration
    • Evaluate current systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
    • Support implementation of new applications, including testing, documentation, and user training
    • Collaborate with developers, vendors, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and enterprise standards
    • Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to resolve system or integration issues
    • Create and maintain process flows, data mappings, and system documentation
    • Assist with change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications or platforms
    • Provide ongoing user support, reporting, and process optimization
    • Support planning and design efforts related to systems, data platforms, and infrastructure

Experience & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • 2–5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, IT systems, business automation, data platforms, or AI/ML tools
    • Experience with OpenAI technologies or generative AI platforms preferred; strong interest in AI adoption required
    • Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
    • Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 integrations, and/or Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
    • Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise security frameworks
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in person across departments
    • Ability to analyze business processes and deliver practical, actionable AI solutions

Contract Details

    • 1099 independent contractor position
    • No benefits, bonuses, or PTO
    • In-office role in The Woodlands, TX (not remote or hybrid)
    • Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits
