Quality Control Technician at Kurt J Lesker Company – Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania

Overview:
Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to perform inspections and leak checks on our products in accordance with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and leak inspections using CMM and other equipment.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Complete inspection documentation and maintain logs.
• Provide guidance to junior inspectors and assist in task assignments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management on inspection priorities.
• Ensure adherence to safety and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

• 8–10 years of experience in mechanical inspection, manufacturing, or quality control.
• Proficient in CMM operations and programming.
• Skilled in vacuum leak detection, SPC inspections, GD&T, and various inspection stages.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with quality management systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Expert-level CMM knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
