Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site EMT/Medic)

Location: Fort Morgan, CO

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule: Day shifts, Monday–Friday (10-hour shifts), some flexibility required.

About the Role:

Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.Support comprehensive case management through patient follow-ups, referrals, and ongoing care coordination.Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication.Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel.Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including “stretch and flex” programs and ergonomic coaching.Accurately document patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.Ensure the on-site medical facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with essential supplies.Collaborate with jobsite safety teams by supporting orientations, trainings, and additional assignments.Ideal Candidates:

Education: High school or equivalentCertified: BLS, CPR, First Aid required. EMT/NREMT preferredExperienced: 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar fieldAdaptable: Thrive in fast-paced, independent work environmentsCustomer-focused: Strong communicator and team playerMobile: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily.
