Senior Software Engineer at Daxko

As a Senior Software Engineer I, you are responsible for developing high-quality applications and writing code daily. This includes heavy collaboration with product managers, architects, and other software engineers to build best-in-class software using modern technologies and an agile development process.

You will also:

Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality features.
Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while following best practices.
Debug and resolve issues related to performance, usability, and functionality.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives).

Qualifications

3–7 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
Hands-on experience with React Native and strong understanding of its ecosystem.
Experience with Expo Framework.
Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with React Navigation, Redux/MobX/Recoil (or other state management libraries).
Knowledge of native modules and bridging with Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Exposure to mobile app deployment processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Understanding of automated testing (Jest). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
