Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Symitar Developer to join our core banking technology team. The candidate will work with senior developers to develop, maintain, and support applications on the Symitar Episys platform. This role provides an opportunity to learn PowerOn programming, banking processes, API integrations, and core banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in developing PowerOn programs, reports, and batch processes.
• Support customization and maintenance of Symitar Episys applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and resolving defects.
• Work with senior developers to gather and understand business requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Support data extraction and reporting using SQL queries.
• Learn SymConnect and SymXchange integrations with external applications.
• Follow coding standards, SDLC processes, and security guidelines.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
• Understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn banking and credit union systems.
