If so, as the Territory Sales Manager for Tiger Correctional Services you will build relationships with law enforcement and correctional professionals by providing them with superior customer service from the best in the industry. Job Title Description

Territory Sales Management functions include new business development, customer service, networking/relationship building and reporting of business analysis and trends. The ideal candidate will have correctional industry knowledge or the ability to learn quickly and have excellent communication and organization skills.

POSITION PURPOSE

To sell solutions & services to Correctional Facilities that enable improved operational efficiencies by lowering costs, reducing labor & eliminating liability. Represents all areas of the Tiger Correctional organization when interacting with customers & presents the Company in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience with the following: Louisiana or Arkansas Sheriff Associations, County Sheriff, Warden, Chief Deputy, Commissary Director.College Degree Preferred 3-5 years of outside sales experienceStrong work ethic and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software.Ability to travel to do business up to 70% mostly in territory.

Training & Personal Development

Stays current with company activities & projects, correctional industry trends & government regulations. Stays up to date on selling techniques by reading sales bulletins, Company literature, product brochures, technical publications & sales seminar attendance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Establish and maintain relationships with clients.Generate potential leads for future sales. Self-starter, with the ability to interact and influence others positively while working in a fast-paced environment.High achiever with excellent communication skills, creativity, and persistence.
    Use consultative sales techniques to gather information about Correctional Facility operations & needs so they may suggest more effective & efficient solutions and services.
Collect accurate information from potential customers for Marketing & Sales so quotes, Requests for Proposals & Information may be prepared.
    Update existing customers as needed on current technology changes in our software.Provide on-site assistance during trade shows & conferences. Serves as first-line contact for customers & directs them when service problems occur. Assists Accounts Receivables in collecting delinquent payments. Responsible for all current & potential accounts in assigned territory. Troubleshoot potential problems at the Correctional Facility to better inform personnel in charge of commissary services.
Provides timely sales reports to Sales Director as needed to meet deadlines.Excellent presentation skills including computer demonstrations. Page BreakPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving many variables.Must be able to hear & receive normal conversations and information.Must have average visual abilities necessary to read a computer screen.Must be able to solve basic math problems including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.Must be able to communicate with a moderate vocabulary of 6000 to 8000 words, to read at a moderate rate, write basic sentences and communicate in standard sentences with good vocabulary.Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
