Trailer Mechanic at RICH TRANSPORT LLC – Dallas, Texas

Assembling and dissembling vehicle engines and cleaning the fuel tanks. Maintaining hubs and axles and adjusting or replacing them when required. Inspecting, servicing, and replacing trailer parts, including tires. Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Job Responsibility (Trailer Mechanic):

1. Performing PM’s & Federal inspections on Dry van trailers
2. Diagnosing & repairing electrical issues (trailer lights).
3. Brake Jobs & Wheel Seals
4. Sheet metal work on dry van trailers (roof patches, Panel patches)
5. Diagnosing & repairing ABS Issues.
6. Welding & torching (Steel, aluminum & Stainless Steel)
7. Body Work (Side Rails, Panels, Roof, Top Rails)
8. Overhead/Roll up door repair.
9. PM Yard Trucks.
10. Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn-out parts, including brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
11. Perform welding and fabrication tasks on trailer bodies and structures.

1. High School Diploma.

2. Two years Experience preferred.

3. A valid driver's license.

4. Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs).

5. Fabrication and Welding preferred
