About This Position
Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes across the property. This person should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
Essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with the recruitment and interviewing processes- tracking statuses of applicants in Paylocity, employment screening and sending follow-up letters at the end of the recruitment process.
- Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, terminations and reconciling the benefit statements. This includes the facilitation of required documentation through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Prepares and facilitates employee onboarding- completing I-9 forms, submitting cases through e-verify and reviewing necessary documentation with new hires.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and highlights any corrective action needed.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents, and performs other clerical functions as needed.
- Assist with the procedures relating to H2B personnel- recruitment, petitions, compliance and candidate communication.
- Maintain inventory of Company uniforms, assisting with ordering when needed.
- Maintain inventory of property safety stations- ensuring compliance with AED machines, proper stock of first aid supplies and regularly evaluating any necessary changes.
- Ensure proper record keeping in all HR systems- status, pay, benefits, certifications, licenses and training records.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with any projects or clerical duties as assigned.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), experience with Paylocity is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time Management, Detail Orientation and Critical Thinking.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
- Must have employment eligibility in the United States.
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to move 25 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Must be able to speak, hear and see.
- Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.
This position will require pre-employment drug testing and satisfactory results of a criminal history background check.
This position will be 30 hours per week until July 1st, 2026, then it will increase to 40 hours per week.
