  • Partner with senior managers, directors, and partners to assess risk, design audit procedures, and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues. Provide guidance on GAAP compliance and GASB updates, supporting clients through technical accounting challenges.
  • Supervise and mentor engagement teams, providing performance feedback, coaching, and training to support professional development and high-quality execution. Contribute to internal training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support client relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and advisory support, ensuring concerns are addressed efficiently and professionally. Participate in business development, networking, and community engagement activities.
Requirements

You bring strong public accounting experience and a deep understanding of audit methodology, financial reporting standards, and client service delivery. You are comfortable managing multiple engagements and teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail. You also bring strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Active CPA license required
  • 5+ years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in audit engagements
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, with exposure to GASB standards preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong client-facing ability
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to client sites across the United States
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary aligned with experience and qualifications
  • Annual discretionary bonus opportunity based on performance
  • Comprehensive health coverage including multiple medical plan options, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) plan with firm matching and profit-sharing contributions
