This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant, International Accounting based in United States.
This role sits at the intersection of global finance, operational accounting, and cross-border collaboration within a fast-growing, technology-enabled hospitality environment. You will play a key part in managing international accounting activities across multiple regions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS standards. The position involves working closely with corporate finance, legal, treasury, and external auditors to support complex intercompany structures and foreign currency transactions. You will also contribute to improving accounting processes across international entities while supporting month-end close and financial reporting cycles. This is a highly collaborative role in a dynamic, global organization where precision, analytical thinking, and adaptability are essential. In this role, you will support international accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across intercompany and global financial processes. You will be actively involved in month-end close, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform monthly close activities, including intercompany journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of foreign exchange gains and losses.
- Manage and enhance international accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across global entities.
- Review intercompany agreements and collaborate closely with Corporate Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and IT teams.
- Partner with external EMEA statutory accounting firms to support the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist with external audits across international operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Support the International Accounting Manager with special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience, including at least 2 years in month-end close processes.
- Experience in public accounting and/or international hospitality, real estate, or similar industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, particularly in lease accounting and foreign currency transactions.
- Experience supporting audits of publicly listed companies.
- Proficiency with large ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
