Transformer Project Manager Summary:Project Manager for complex and multi-discipline projects which span company divisions to provide a comprehensive solution to the customer. This role is responsible for large projects and clients, leading a team of efforts to deliver results on individual projects or portfolio of smaller projects for clients. Also responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships and managing contract terms resulting in prolonged business relationships.

Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire project life cycle from customer purchase order to execution and final closeout.
  • Interprets customer requirements & monitors contracts, specifications and addendums to ensure project meets customer requirements
  • Acts as a focal point for customer contact after receipt of order including visits, calls, & deliverables
  • Fully coordinate & support customers during customer factory visits (hosting lunch, dinner, etc.), which may require flexible working hours.
  • Participate in engineering and production planning meetings to ensure timelines are being met & requirements are being fulfilled, as well as organizing any problem resolutions necessary during the project
  • Manages warranty claims
  • Track status of job materials as specified by procurement, engineering or production in line with project timeline
  • Ability to travel to customer sites/visits & industry conferences/meeting as deemed necessary


Requirements:

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or 5 years of experience.
  • Strong Computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point Required.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification & background in electrical/mechanical products a plus
