Overview

• Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities throughout the department.
• Assists MRI Technologist in performing duties as well as help move and/or transport patients.
• Performs cleaning and organizing duties.
• Performs clerical functions.
• Follows policy and procedures.
• Ability to navigate on-line resources pertinent to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities throughout the department. (i.e. reducing wait time, coordination the completion of exams, responding to patient needs)
• Assists MRI Technologist in performing duties.
• Transports patients from the department and assists with their lifting and/or positioning.
• Performs cleaning and organizing duties.
• Performs clerical functions.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Previous experience in healthcare or office setting preferred.
• Maintains certification in BLS
