JOB SUMMARY: A clinically competent licensed practical nurse that delivers nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma. • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Current BLS card or completion of course within 30 days of hire. • ACLS with 1 year of employment. • Recommended PALS within one year of employment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials. • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations. • Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop and kneel. • Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care, i.e., insert catheters, administer medications, and manage instruments. • Able to work in a latex burdened environment.
