Description:
STX has long been the leading field hockey brand on volume, in the United States. As we move to usher in a new era of growth in the category, we are seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial champion to lead the day-to-day field hockey activity of the company at the elite level with STX, while supporting the ongoing effort to launch Nike into the segment for the very first time.
The Field Hockey Business Coordinator will be responsible for aligning internal and external partners (athletes, teams, retailers, and more) across the commercial enterprise, including but not limited to team sales, sponsorship coordination, social media content aggregation, event activation, and retail sales support.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate existing relationships and establish new relationships to generate sales opportunities with teams (colleges, universities, etc) and organizations
- Coordinate with US and International sales representatives on sell-in and retail support
- Manage sports marketing relationships to elevate the STX and Nike brands through association with elite-level athletes, teams, and organizations
- Establish sponsorship and NIL relationships with athletes, teams, partners, and organizations domestically and internationally
- Identify, coordinate, and execute against event marketing opportunities at tournaments, camps, showcases, and conventions to connect with field hockey players and teams face-to-face
- Collaborate with internal and external content creators to develop social media content for Instagram and TikTok, and seek ways to connect with field hockey players domestically and internationally
- Partner with creative agency to develop graphics, video content, packaging, event collateral, and other materials to support STX’s position as a leading brand in the sport of field hockey
- Support go-to-market for new and existing products at retail and online by generating online marketing materials, emails, and in-store displays to highlight the STX field hockey product assortment
- Assist product team in research, development, testing, and distribution of new products and prototypes, gathering feedback from players and the marketplace

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- Elite field hockey playing experience and existing business relevant network
- Demonstrated appreciation of social media and the digital communication landscape
- Comprehensive understanding of the MS Office Suite
- On-Site presence in Baltimore, Maryland headquarters
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time, including multiple weekends and possible international travel. Ability to work irregular hours is a must.
